"THE WAY WE TALK TO OUR CHILDREN BECOMES THEIR INNER VOICE"

The meaning of SAGOL

Based on several theoretical frameworks, all evidence-based, I've put together 5 characteristics of a meaningful relationship between a carer (a parent or a teacher) and a child. These characteristics can provide the children with what they need in order to develop an authentic and confident self, to handle different challenges, to be independent and to have meaningful relationships with others.
Communicative Parenting

One of the ways children gather information about the world and about themselves is through the way adults interact with them. For example, positive and supportive communication teaches children that they have someone in their lives who believes in them and keeps them safe. They are, then, more available, more free, to learn and experiment.
SAGOL workshops- The power of the group
During my work as a psychologist, I discovered the power of the group, either a learning or a therapy group.
A group is like an interpersonal laboratory. The learning comes from the interaction between the members of the group, and it provides a safe space for the participants to understand their impact on other people as well as how interacting with others affects them.
